Sunday, April 22 On a Quest to Find Relatives
Don, Scott and I drive from Vermont to Gettysburg, PA. During our time there, besides touring the National Military Park, Don went searching for the grave sites of relatives.
The oldest was of a very great grandfather Gilbert who fought in the revolutionary war. His burial site was in a small church graveyard about 5 miles from town.
A descendant of Barnhart was Calvin, who is buried in the Cemetery within Gettysburg National Military Park.
The Cemetery had room for the living and the dead.
