Saturday, February 10th We Visit Silver Springs State Park

All this beautiful blue water comes from springs, feeding millions of gallons a day into the river.  It has been a place for many underwater movie scenes to be filmed, including Creature from the Blue Lagoon, and many episodes of Sea Hunt.

It is filled with boaters and wildlife, including alligators and a large variety of fish.

We took a ride in a glass bottom boat that allowed you to see the many springs, as well as loads of fish, and the debris from past movie sets.
