Monday, June 11 The Garden of My Dreams

Sunday, June 10th #46

Maurine joined Lindsey for a hike to her 46th peak of the Adirondack 46 High Peaks.  Together they stand atop Dix Mountain.  Way to GO!

Saturday, June 9th And Then There Were Four

Another chicken massacre!  It has virtually wiped out my chicken flock.  I am left with four..... two Golden Laced Wyandottes, an Aracana, and a Rhode Island Red.

Now, at least, I can name them and remember who is who.  I couldn't do that when I had 25 of them.  Meet the survivors:

Thursday, June 7th Moving Time for the Temporary Garage

Don and Maurine are starting to move things out so the garage can come down at this spot, and go back up in the west garden and become a hoop house. Is an 8 year old garage considered temporary????

Wednesday, June 6th Catching Up at The Trout Club

Pat and Larry are just back from wintering in Florida, so we went to the Trout Club to hang out and catch up.

Tuesday, June 5th Looking Back

He was such a good rooster. Every time I go to the chicken coop I miss him.  He protected and took care of the place in unparalleled fashion.  I think the coop benefits from having such a great guy around.  Maybe another one someday will come along.
